The Taste of Chocolate
February 12th 2018
The Taste of Chocolate is held in February at 10 West in Downtown Cicero. Each vendors set up a booth with a delicious chocolate treat and welcomed guests to sample their items. The evening event provides a tasty way to mingle with friends and get to know those who participated in the event.
Dine on the Causeway
September 8th 2018
The Our Town Cicero Mainstreet Association cordially invites you to their 3rd annual signature fundraising event, Dine on the Causeway. Join us in a picture perfect setting, with gourmet food, top shelf cocktails, live music and stimulating conversation with some of your best, old and new friends.
Delicious food will be provided by Hall’s Catering, the American Legion will be presenting a ceremony of the flag, live music will be playing throughout the evening, and new this year, will be a silent auction.

Our Town Cicero appreciates your attendance and philanthropic support. If you would also be interested in sponsoring this community project, we are committed to using your sponsorship funds to make 2018 Dine on the Causeway another successful event. A portion of the proceeds from Dine on the Causeway will be used for 2019’s operating expenses, allowing Our Town Cicero to provide great events to the community such as the Taste of Chocolate, the Fall Festival and the Christmas Festival, as well as our downtown beautification project.
The event will be held rain or shine. In the event of rain, there will be a tent set up near Red Bridge Park.
Thus, we suggest comfortable cocktail attire and footwear.
Parking will be available at Red Bridge, on the west side of Morse Landing Drive, and on Jackson Street.
This is a 21 and over event. Please bring your ID for entry.

October 20th 2018
This free kid-friendly festival is held at the Cicero Community Park and includes booths with games from local businesses and organizations and activities for the kids who carry a punch card to indicate that they had completed all of the activities. More information to come.
Christmas Tree Lighting Festival
December 8th 2018
The culmination of this year’s OTC activity calendar is the Second Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Festival on Saturday, December 8th. The event is designed to become part of the community’s traditional celebration of the holidays which begins with Breakfast with Santa at Red Bridge Park. The festivities continue throughout the day with the Christmas Market Place at the library and the Christmas Parade, and culminates with the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Festival which will be held at the Pocket Park and on Jackson Street that same day. From 4:30-6:30 several free events will be featured. Games with prizes will be located at four businesses on Jackson Street and at the Cicero Town Hall. Families are invited to visit Old Saint Nick at Santa Land located in the Pocket Park adjacent to Town Hall. Parents are welcome to take photos of their children with Santa free of charge, and kids will be leaving with a treat in hand. But the highpoint of the day, the 2nd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting will occur at 6:45pm. A huge tree, donated by Cicero residents, Dave and Becky Benefiel, will be positioned in the Pocket Park and illuminated with pomp and circumstance by three of the area’s kids.
